So far I'm quite enjoying the story, but I feel that with some polishing and editing, it could be a lot better.
I think maybe if you join this forum you could get a lot more feedback than on Bebo if you posted your work there. www.tomecity.com - the members on there are friendly and helpful, and they could give you some really useful tips and feedback. (TomeCity is completely free, btw!)
But in brief, your narrative needs a bit of sprucing up and some reworking to make it flow better. Don't worry - it's not bad writing - it's just that, as with all writing, with more work it can be a lot better.
